Changes to The Settlement camping area

This alert applies to the following parks:

The Settlement camping area at Springbrook National Park has transitioned from numbered to un-numbered campsites.

Un-numbered campsites means that after making a booking via the online/phone booking system, visitors will be free to select a campsite of their choice upon arrival to the camping area on a 'first come, first serve' basis. Visitors will no longer be able to reserve a particular campsite in advance at the time of making a booking.

This change will be effective for all existing and new/future bookings from 1 February 2018.

Note: Check-in and check-out requirements are as follows:

  1. Check-In - A campsite may be occupied from 2pm on the first day for which camping fees have been paid; and
  2. Check-Out - A campsite must be vacated by 11am of the day after the last night’s fees are paid.

Upgrades to the camping area means that all eleven (11) campsites are now approximately 10m x 4.2m and are able to accommodate a moderate sized camper trailer or small campervan.

Bookings are essential and are required well in advance for holiday periods. Bookings can be made online or by phone.
