Changes to The Settlement camping area at Springbrook National Park

This alert applies to the following parks:

The Settlement camping area has transitioned from numbered to un-numbered campsites.

Un-numbered campsites means that you will no longer be able to reserve a particular campsite in advance when making a booking. Instead however, visitors can select a campsite of their choice upon arrival to the camping area on a 'first come, first serve' basis, after a booking is made via the online booking system.

This change will be effective for all existing and new/future bookings from 1 February 2018.

Note: Check-in and check-out requirements are as follows:

  1. Check-In - A campsite may be occupied from 2pm on the first day for which camping fees have been paid; and
  2. Check-Out - A campsite must be vacated by 11am of the day after the last night’s fees are paid.

Upgrades to the camping area means that all eleven (11) campsites are now approximately 10m x 4.2m and are able to accommodate a moderate sized camper trailer.

Bookings are essential and are required well in advance for holiday periods. Bookings can be made online or by phone.
