Scrubby Creek crossing: Eliot Falls camping and day-use area, Heathlands Regional Park

This alert applies to the following parks:

The entry into Eliot Falls camping area and day-use area requires crossing Scrubby Creek on the Old Telegraph Track (managed by Cook Shire Council). The Scrubby Creek crossing is only suitable for high clearance four-wheel drives with snorkels due to the water depth and slippery and rough entry exit points.

The road prior to Scrubby Creek has been affected by heavy rains and one section has an erosion gully down the center of the track. This section may be difficult to negotiate and is also only suitable for high clearance four-wheel drives.

If you require further information on access to Eliot Falls please contact the Heathlands ranger base on (07) 4060 3241.
