Timber Harvesting Traffic - Bulburin National Park

This alert applies to the following parks:

Timber Harvesting is occurring in the area indefinitely and logging trucks use the roads within the park on a daily basis. Visitors should exercise extreme caution when driving in the park particularly when approaching corners and on winding, hilly sections. Trucks entering and exiting the harvesting area do so near the camping area at the top of the range along Bulburin Forest Road. Campers and day visitors are advised to remain alert when using this area and avoid the plantation entry/exit point. Please observe all logging operations signs.Campers should be aware that the noise of logging trucks operating at night may cause some inconvenience.
